Don't Dress for Dinner

by Marc Camoletti  adapted by Robin Hawdon

17th to 19th May 2018

Director: Peter Konowalik

With his wife Jacqueline out of town, Bernard's plans for a romantic weekend with his mistress are complete with a gourmet caterer booked and an alibi arranged, courtesy of his best friend Robert who has just returned from overseas.  When Jacqueline learns that Robert will be visiting for the weekend, she decides to stay around … setting the stage for a collision course of outrageous infidelities. In what ensues, the cook becomes the lover, the mistress becomes the cook, the friend is bewildered, the wife is suspicious and the husband loses control while trying desperately to salvage a scrap of illicit bliss from the wreckage of an evening.
